How to pay Student Loans

How to pay student loans is advice 6 million US graduates are asking for as a result of being buried in a mountainous debt of over $900 Billion. A few questions should be asked of politicians on how such a gigantic student debt could arise - and more importantly who should be paying that debt? Students who were persuaded by their elders to take out loans to finance higher education are faced with burdensome student loans but no prospect of immediate employment.

While the current and past President had no hesitation handing out trillions of dollars to the culprits responsible for the Global Financial Crisis there is no similar move to reduce the immediate burden on students and graduates. The proposition trotted out by Obama of students being relieved of debt after 20 years in purgatory or 10 if they go to the public sector salt mines is a far cry from the treatment given to America's financial institutions when they undermined the world's economy - bringing the US financial system to its knees.

Clearly the President, big business and the bankers would rather play golf than help the nation's youth and the future of America. And forget the Republicans - who can not even spell the country's name.

If you really want to know "How to pay student loans" the simplest and clearest solution is to earn more money and pay less tax. If every worker in the US were to establish their own small business - which can be done today easily thanks to the internet - they could increase their incomes while at the same time reduce their taxes because of the deductions allowed under the laws of the land. Then by combining together those two pools of money students could draw funds in the form of tax free grants each year until their student loans were banished.

Graduates could take immediate steps to reduce their loans by starting their own tutoring or teaching business. There is one college that has established a program to help graduates do that very thing - and it is certainly the time. For details checkout Mentors College.
